March seems to be a relatively quiet month for foxes round here. Not many signs, and no missing shoes to report. It was the same this time last year so the somewhat sporadic sightings are actually an improvement. It's difficult to tell whether the cubs will be quite as nearby as previously.

The younger male did show up briefly during the early part of the evening. He was lurking at the rear of the garden (a good sign), and then wandered down to the front before disappearing through the thick hedge on the side. I still can't quite figure out where he gets to when he does that.

It was a bitterly cold day today, with more sleet, but amazingly there was a wonderful sunset.

As for the fox…

  1. Lovelly pics of the young Fox and a great spectacular sunset:D I do hope all the cubs come to your garden again Words they were so cute.

  2. 😆 The video's working now

Great shots, very nice clarity. Wouldn't I like to upgrade my camera :p but I'm going to stick with the 300d for now.

  3. @Mark – I'm still keeping fingers crossed for the cubs. I'm sure we'll get some visits.

@Adele – Your photos are great. Some of the sharpness is in the processing which I'm getting better at (ie less severe). The main improvement is using Neat Image to de-noise and sharpen.
