Battling Herring Gulls

This is nothing to do with the ludicrous attempts by the Prime Minister to vilify yet another of our wildlife species (in this case a red listed bird), but some shots of herring gulls chasing each other on the wing. The photos were taken at Rottingdean today, just along from here. At no time did I feel I was in any danger 😉

    Great shots, and yes it would be nice if the Prime Minister stopped treating our natural heritage as the enemy.

      Adele, thanks! It seems to be that time of year when the British press pick on an animal to vilify. The local news is full of ‘seagull’ [sic] attacks. 🙁

    Incredible action shots, they are so clear. There does seem to be a worrying trend developing by those in power regarding our environment and all who share it with us.

      Aurora, thanks! If it’s not one animal, it’s another. Gulls for now (which at least gives foxes and badgers a break). At least our local news does always say they are protected/endangered.
