All three of the regular fox cubs were in the garden this evening. They were being very well behaved (i.e. not attempting to take chunks out of each other), and each posed in a favoured location for a portrait shot.

This is Pretty. She likes to lie down. A lot!

Next is Red. He sits and watches things. He's curious about everything, but a little bit of a coward.

Third up is Bully Boy, though these days the other cubs give him a run for his money.

And from front to rear: Bully Boy, Pretty, and Red (hiding in the shadows)

  1. I hope they're as pleased with the session as we are.

wonderful photos! I love seeing their different personalities – especially Red's curiosity! And that Pretty is the supermodel of the fox world 🙂

  3. I think you should print some of your photos and frame them. That portrait of Pretty is so nice

  4. Definitely reached the 'teenager cub' stage, although fortunately only in appearance, not in behaviour!

  5. Alison, thanks! Pretty is well-named.

  6. dW, they seem to enjoy the photo sessions. They keep coming back for more!

  7. Adele, they are certainly getting to the gangly stage. Even Pretty looks like a proper fox now!

  8. Darko, I'm very lazy about printing the photos, though I do make a real calendar every year so some of the fox cubs will get into that for 2014.
