Nice to see her again. She is so pretty.
She looks wonderful in that photo. :queen:
😀
Welcome back to her! 😀
Eric, she does. She's been in the wars a bit though, which has got me a bit puzzled.
Adele, thanks! I'm still trying to figure out what her movements have been since late October. The trail cam footage isn't helping too much.
Robin, thanks. More photos later. 😉
Darko, yes 😀 😀
The muzzle does resemble a puncture.
The body patches definitely not ringworm, but I wouldn't rule out fungal infection or mange.
The images are too small to know for sure.
I have seen this sort of reaction to fleas, but it's probably too cold where you are for fleas to be an issue.
Either way her immune system should take care of it. Most fungal infections are self limiting too.
That is my best expert guess lol based on what's in front of me.
I really enjoy your shots of her, and I'm glad she's ok.
Tab, we've more or less eliminated mange (it just doesn't follow the pattern, and the rest of her is far too tidy), so an injury of some sort is the most likely though I hadn't really considered a fungal infection. As you say, it's been far too cold for fleas to be much of an issue. She's recovering well though, which is the main thing.
I watched the videos of her, my she's adorable! I have foxes around my place too, but never thought of setting up a cam.
