We seem to be in a thaw down on the South coast, though there were more snow falls around the London area this afternoon. The forecasts suggest more tomorrow, but again sliding just north of where we are.
I took this shot early this morning looking down towards Rottingdean.
This second shot is mid afternoon, in London, shortly after the snow began falling again.
The garden is just about clear of snow and ice (one or two slippery spots remain, which almost caught me out this evening), so this is probably the last video clip of a fox in snow. It's short, and features 'Stumpy', the fox with the shortened brush.
And on a completely separate note, in case you hadn't noticed, My Opera has just doubled the amount of free storage to a whopping 2GB.
Camera note: both shots taken with the Canon 40D and EF 24-105 F4L IS USM lens.

22 Dec 2009Nice photos and video, it does seem that we missed the latest of the snow, i noticed that all the airports except Heathrow were closed yesterday evening causing loads of disruption.
Hopefully we get more nice sunny weather. 😀

22 Dec 2009Very pretty…and you were extremely fortunate to get out of London yesterday. Trains were cancelled, disrupted, and chaotic. I got part of the way back, found myself stranded at the foot of the Downs, spent the night in a Travelodge, and finally got home just before nine this morning! :faint:

22 Dec 2009Mark, it seems the snow kept mainly to the north of London. We just got a nice thaw down on the coast. Christmas Day should be sunny 😀

22 Dec 2009Adele, I left for the train as soon as I saw the snow starting to get heavy. Got a 4.40-ish train out of town. There was a thick blanket of snow on all the station platforms near London. Sorry to hear you got stuck. It sounds like you had a bit of an epic journey home 🙁

22 Dec 2009Darko, you know me… I always have a camera in my hand :left: It wasn't too bad though. Nearly all the ice had gone.

23 Dec 2009Lois, I'd seen that you'd had a little bit of snow :right: It makes our 'flurry' seem a little ridiculous, but truly the country collapses when we get an inch of snow. Hope you're keeping warm!
