I was at Rottingdean today, looking for fulmars (of which there were many). A passer-by mentioned that a peregrine was perched on the cliffs about half a mile to the west, so I went to explore. Here is a small selection of an absurd number of photos. It's the first time I've seen a peregrine other than on the wing. It stayed on its cliff-side perch for well over an hour, occasionally moving around; and stoically ignoring the gulls, fulmars, starlings and pigeons.
