There's not too much to say about these shots, taken early this morning at Seven Sisters Country Park, other than that the heron behaved impeccably, the low sun lit the scene perfectly, and the water was as smooth as glass. It's not often all the elements come together like this, but it makes all they grey mornings worthwhile when it does.

  1. Except on that third photo, reflection was perfect on the rest of them

  2. Amazing!

  3. The final shot is my favourite

  4. Darko, the heron was stirring up the water in the third shot (looking for fish), but it was beautifully still for the rest of them.

  5. dW, thanks! I'm pleased with this set.

  6. Adele, as I'm sure you can imagine I have a few more than just these shots, many not processed yet. The portrait shots give a little more sense of size, and I like the hint of sky that peeps in at the bottom.
