There's not too much to say about these shots, taken early this morning at Seven Sisters Country Park, other than that the heron behaved impeccably, the low sun lit the scene perfectly, and the water was as smooth as glass. It's not often all the elements come together like this, but it makes all they grey mornings worthwhile when it does.
Camera note: all shots taken with the Canon 7D and EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L USM IS lens.

23 Feb 2013Adele, as I'm sure you can imagine I have a few more than just these shots, many not processed yet. The portrait shots give a little more sense of size, and I like the hint of sky that peeps in at the bottom.
