I have been trying to photograph foxes, but they don't want to pose. After an hour outside tonight I'd seen one ghost by along the hedges and heard another scrabbling around at the bottom of a neighbouring garden. But at the moment they like their privacy. So instead of a photo this is a short video from the trail camera. The first sequence was captured as I was taking the images for last night's blog. In the second part two fox are out together. The one at the peanuts is the little vixen who was clearly pregnant a week or so ago. She seems to have slimmed down, so presumably there are cubs somewhere not too far away.

Nice clip
Have you seen any sign of the hedgehogs so far this spring?
Adele, none at all, and barely any last year either. I suspect our glut of foxes and badgers is keeping them away.
