Some Birds

Just a few photos today… the rain has barely relented so I'll start with one taken in the garden yesterday. The sparrowhawk came in quite low across the garden, at speed.

Later, the pigeons were getting frisky. Two from a longer sequence…

And yes, that is blue sky. It's been so grey today that I'd forgotten that we had some late sunshine on Tuesday.

Nothing remotely like that today when we've had rain and mist for 12 solid hours. These next shots of a kestrel were taken just as the rain was coming in…

The local sheep were distinctly unimpressed!

Darko, the pigeons are like watching cartoons sometimes… it always ends well 😉

Adele, the eyes of a sparrowhawk… enough to chill any prey creature.
