A quick post as I celebrate Chelsea's Champions League victory tonight. 😀

The three in the title are of Shutterbug taken early this evening.

The four is from last night when we watched the fox cubs playing in the garden. They were dashing all over the place. I didn't photograph them as they are still quite wary of humans and flashing lights. The trail cam has no such problems and caught what I suspect must be the whole group in one of the many clips. It turns out that we have four fox cubs! It's short, but very sweet 😀

  2. That's wonderful, Words! They look quite healthy, too. I must say that I did wonder a bit about three, because an odd number is rather unusual, and now I see there are four. "Quite enough!" mama probably thinks.

  3. Good that they feel safe in your garden. Or it is food that makes them feel safe and loved? 😀

  4. Excellent! Very cute 😀

  5. Adele, thanks! The joy of trail cams 😀

  6. dW, we have had odd numbers before (7 actually, which was a bit of a handful). Four is excellent if they all survive (though that is unlikely). One or two may make it through to adulthood. And I'm sure Mama thinks it's enough, though she does have plenty of help from the subordinate vixen and Shutterbug.

  7. Darko, they are very erratic so I'm not sure they really do feel too safe yet, but I'm hopeful that with longer nights they'll start to emerge before it's completely dark so we can get to know them a bit.

  8. Andy, thanks!
