Foxes and Badgers (Trail Cam)

Tonight's blog starts with some trail cam footage picked up overnight. The fox featured in the first sequence is one of the shy youngsters (I never see it). It's got heavy limp on its rear leg. In the beginning of the sequence the fox is badgering a badger on the left of the frame, while a second badger eats peanuts in the foreground.

As for Shy Boy (the younger of the two foxes in the second part of the video clip… the other one is Shutterbug), he was at his co-operative best tonight in the garden, posing first for a portrait before bedding down in the damp grass.

Shy Boy looks like a :ninja: on that photo 😀

He doesn't seem to mind a damp grass for his bed 🙂

He's an English fox. If he doesn't like rain, he's in trouble!

    Lovely photos.

Adele, thanks! And the 2012 foxes must think that rain is the absolute norm. They've known almost nothing else.
