A pair of fulmars at Rottingdean
A (rock) pipit…
A gull and a sparrowhawk (over the garden)
Further development of the spawn/tadpoles
The bold vixen… those patches are just the same as ever
But she still has time to pose.
Camera note: All shots taken with the Canon 40D. I used the EF 400mm f/5.6L USM lens for the birds and the EF 24-105 F4L IS USM for the fox. The spawn was taken with the Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX DG macro lens and EM-140 DG ring flash.

5 Apr 2010I think, for the sake of birdwatchers everywhere, they should officially lump all pipits together into one species

6 Apr 2010Vulpes, good to hear that the Easter tradition is in full swing. I saw her last night trying to cut out the middle man… she wandered through the garden with what looked like an ex-pigeon!

6 Apr 2010Darko, it's beginning to look like the coat won't recover, though she'll still be moulting at this time of year. I'll give her until the autumn now to see if there's any change. But you are probably right.
