Camera note: all shots taken with the EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM. Where I used flash I relied on the pop-up unit bulit in to the camera, with the exception of the final shot which was illuminated with the Canon 430EX flash unit

  10. I'm not really seeing any spiders at all in the house this year except multitudes of daddy-long-legs spiders. Which is actually probably why I'm not seeing the others :chef: :yuck:

  12. We're encouraging them to set up home outside, where they're doing fine. I've just been watching a small spider defeat a wasp (I was attracted by the frantic buzzing).

    Edit: on examining the photos I got, it turns out the 'wasp' was a hover fly.
