Moths and Spiders

Just a very quick blog tonight of a moth spotted in the garden.

And a couple of spiders…

Fox-wise, Cheeky has picked up an injury to her rear left paw. She's limping, but not as badly as a couple of nights ago. That's two foxes with foot injuries in the past few days 🙁 It's hazardous out there.

    Hope she recovers soon. And it's nice to see a moth in its natural habitat! I usually see them indoors these days…

    Jill, thanks! The fox will recover quickly enough. It's par for the course to get a leg/foot injury.

    Thanks Juliet! I was pleased with the moth. For once it kept reasonably still (the wings were beating).

    Adele, the inside of your house sounds like a jungle! 😆 To be fair, we get a number of intruders as well. Impossible to keep them out at this time of year. I'm constantly ferrying spiders back outside.

    Darko, they seem to recover quite quickly from these minor wounds. She should be fine.
