Plenty of colour and some black and white…

First the colours…

These are at about 8.20-8.30 in the morning. The sun is low…
The country lane

The foot path

Leading out to an open field…
A sheep slowly munches

And a magpie sweeps by

These are at about 1.30-1.45pm. The sun is higher, and there is thin cloud…
The pied wagtail keeps watch

A gull swoops low

And a magpie hops

At about 1.45, the clouds part, and the sun emerges…
A young kestrel enjoys the moment

There's not much to report on fox movements. They are still about, but arriving long past the hour for photos. Sometimes at 2.00am, occasionally nearer 6.00am.

Neil, I didn't get long outside but after so much rain I'll take any small opportunity. Seeing the kestrel was a bonus.

Mark, I don't mind the cold as long as they skies are clear and the sun is shining. So much better than constant rain!
